Benedikt Roß began playing the classical guitar at the age of seven and later learned to play the piano. His passion for recording studios as a musician inspired him to study “Tonmeister” (sound engineering) at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (mdw), where he completed his degree in early 2024. 

Since 2021, he has been working as a freelance sound engineer. In this role, he serves as a recording engineer for CD productions in both classical and popular music genres. Additionally, he works as a live sound engineer for broadcasts and as a front-of-house (FOH) mixer. 

Since 2022, he has worked regularly as a tuning partner with Amadeus Acoustics, refining both temporary and permanent acoustic installations on-site and working closely with artists and venue staff to achieve the ideal sound environment for each space.
