solutions
open-air
There is no room. Every reflection the audience should hear has to be created from nothing.
what the room cannot do
the struggle
Outdoors there is no reverberation at all, so orchestral and choral programming sounds thin and distant.
The infrastructure has to arrive, work for a run, and leave.
Conventional reinforcement makes the event louder without making it sound like a hall.
what amadeus does
how we solve it
A designed acoustic is built for the site rather than borrowed from a room that is not there.
Immersive placement gives an outdoor audience a sense of envelopment that a stereo PA cannot.
Mobile hardware deploys for the run and strikes at the end of it.
what the venue achieves
what you get
Festival and outdoor programming with the presence of an indoor hall.
Programming that previously only worked indoors becomes viable outdoors.
A repeatable rig rather than a one-off build per event.

LA MARGARITA - A BAROQUE HORSE BALLET
Emperors and kings used to bask in the glow of the horse ballets. Here, the high art of classical dressage, the grandeur of baroque music and the dramatic art of the opera form a perfect blend.

OPENING OF THE WIENER FESTWOCHEN 2017
Each year The Wiener Festwochen are celebrating their opening at the Rathausplatz in Vienna. Mistress of ceremonies and hostess of this musical show in 2017 was Conchita Wurst.
Amadeus ART integrates seamlessly with the AV infrastructure a venue already runs, and stays brand agnostic: it works with quality loudspeakers, microphones, amplifiers and mixing desks from every major manufacturer, and talks to the control and show systems already in the rack.
