Matteo Galotti is a technical consultant and application engineer based in Vienna, Austria. He completed the Diploma di Specializzazione in Tecnico del Suono (sound engineering) at the Scuola di Alto Perfezionamento Musicale di Saluzzo, where he built a broad and practical command of acoustics, electroacoustics, electronics, synthesis and sampling, audio-video techniques, and recording, mixing, and live and studio production. His prior degree, a Laurea triennale in Computer Science and Technology with a specialisation in Music Informatics at the Università degli Studi di Milano, was concluded with a thesis on the development of a sampling-based virtual instrument, alongside coursework spanning acoustics, models of musical perception, and computing applied to music and sound.
This dual foundation, combining the engineer’s grounding in signal and system with the musician’s grounding in perception and production, shapes how he approaches sound.
As a technical consultant and application engineer at Amadeus Acoustics, Galotti’s role is to develop concepts and technical documentation for new installations and to support clients in bringing their projects to a successful completion.
