Art::hub 2

what it does

ART that scales

Overview

The ART::Hub 2 is the insignia hardware of the ART::Performance Line — a 2RU, industrial-grade processor purpose-built for ambitious, large-scale installations: theatres, concert halls, and other large venues. The same hardware ships in two software-defined configurations, each built around a different priority. Choose the one that matches what your venue needs most.

Performance v1 — Acoustics + Immersive, Together

Runs ART::AP (Acoustics Performance) and ART::IP v1 (Immersive Performance v1) simultaneously, so a single Hub 2 handles both room acoustics and immersive sound in the same venue at the same time.

  • Compatible modules: ART::AP, ART::IP v1

  • Up to 64 Active Acoustics microphones

  • Up to 64 Immersive Audio objects

  • Up to 128 loudspeaker outputs

  • Active Acoustics and Immersive Sound run simultaneously

  • 48 kHz

  • 3.9 ms latency

Performance v2 — Maximum Immersive Power

Dedicates the full Hub 2 to ART::IP v2 (Immersive Performance v2) alone — the first multizone immersive engine in the market. This configuration does not run Active Acoustics. In exchange, it delivers significantly more immersive headroom than v1.

  • Compatible module: ART::IP v2 only — Active Acoustics is not available in this configuration

  • 256×256 delay and gain matrix

  • Up to 128 Immersive Audio objects

  • Up to 256 loudspeaker outputs

  • Full 3D, venue-related workflow, controlled through ART::Director

  • Independent setup and operation

  • 44.1 kHz – 96 kHz

Shared Across Both Configurations

  • Works with existing audio systems and any loudspeaker brand

  • Dante I/O

  • Industrial-grade hardware, built for 24/7 continuous operation

  • Redundant power supply: 2 × 550 W (80+)

  • Dimensions: 88 × 482 × 430 mm (2RU × 19")

  • Weight: approx. 8 kg

  • MTBF: > 50,000 h
